It really was. The reason the backs couldnt get any yards was because defenders were getting hands on them before they could even get a step away from the handoff and AJ was running for his life all night which affected his ability to throw the ball. The only problems that we had on offense that wasnt directly caused by the oline was Coop dropped a couple passes which I attribute to him not being 100% mentally back from his injury and Fowler not being even 75% back mentally from his injury as well. Both of them, coop to a lesser extent, looked like they were playing a little scared of reinjury.

of course you would use a post from the biggest homer sporting a script A on this site. We all call him out for his homerism on a daily basis.

But on the other side of the coin, while maybe not to the extent of ABDIW, most of us didnt think their D would be that good, however after actually seeing them in action (you know, that thing you do when you someone is actually playing as opposed to just making seemingly educated guesses during the offseason) it seems they were much better on that side of the ball than most gave them credit for.

You can sit here and laugh and act like you are so smart all you want because you know you dont have to play them this year and will never have to pay for your remarks, but it doesnt change the fact that that front 7 from VaTech was good.
