Let me first say, I think the season will be allowed to play out as scheduled. There's just too much money involved for the networks, NCAA, and SEC to lose out on with Newton off the field.

But, if a decision were to be made that Newton is ineligible, it won't happen before Friday's game. The only fair way to determine the West representative would be for Newton to play. Why should Alabama be allowed to play a Newton-less Auburn, when all other divisional foes had to face him?

I don't expect Newton to be ruled ineligible, unless the NCAA wants to avoid a Bush situation more than they want Newton's marketability, and that is very doubtful. But, if it's going to happen, it will happen after Friday's game, and before the SECCG.

LSU fans are so concerned with everything being fair. Should we wait until Barrett Jones and Aaron Savage are healthy to play the game as well? I mean isn't it only fair since Arkansas had to play a healthy Barrett Jones?

So I gues we should not believe that you have received the tracking number and confirmation of your SECCG tickets.

By the way, you can sell them on the ticket exchange next week.

And LSU makes fun of Ole Miss for a SEC West co-champs banner. Some of ya'll are pathetic.

My post seems to have drawn out the worst this site has to offer. I only intended to point out that it would make sense to wait until Auburn's regular season ends, IF such an action were to take place.

And to the guy that wants to present his tracking number for his tickets, I can assure you that the SEC doesn't give a shite about purchased tickets to their championship game.

I've bought them from fans from other teams on more than one occasion. BTW, how many have you bought in your lifetime? I would think you should have them before most seasons even start as often as Auburn is there.

Don't worry about it. Come Saturday it won't matter for LSu fans anyway.

LSU would represent the west IF something drastic were to happen and AU got ruled ineligible before Dec.4th..however, that's not likely to happen
