Thankful to be a fan to a school that will be fine, but my heart goes out to the other unfortunate ones that will just be collateral damage.

That's a huge issue and it should be a one time transfer with no exceptions.

You get 6-7 home games per year to watch in person. If you can't afford the cost to fly an away game, then watch it from your recliner on 4K.

It’s changed the landscape for sure. As long as there are enough fans willing to support minor league players who pay for play instead of student-athletes who play for love of game and school pride, it’ll survive.

Meh, I used to tune in from Gameday til the end of Oregon-UCLA. I’ll probably watch 5-6 games this fall and watch the real pros play on Sunday instead. Lots of folks in that same boat.

Once it's too cold for lake day on Saturdays I still watch CFB just as much as I did 5 to 10 to 20 to 25 years ago. And so does everyone else.

I used to be the most committed CFB around. But, knowing those kids are 1099 guns for hire has killed my buy-in. Last fall I checked scores every so often from lake, hunting, concert, etc. Imagine this year being similar.

Some have no doubt. But, ask any college coach who has been around, and they’ll tell you the recruiting game has dramatically shifted to NIL almost entirely. Combine that with the portal free agency, and I can’t even keep up with who’s where anymore.

Look, I know it more than most. I'm a fan of a team that had zero shot in a 4 team playoff and an extremely slim shot in a 12 team playoff.
It's entertainment and I do enjoy it. If you don't, then maybe take a break from it. Some of the changes suck, but there's nothing you or I can do to voice your displeasure besides tuning out.

I was enjoying it til I heard a college coach at a major program say these kids don’t even care about winning anymore as long as they get paid. That’s when I started to tune it out.
I do still thoroughly enjoy CFB at the lower levels as much as ever though.
