Would you still want them to play the game anyway, even if they lost, or would you want them to cancel for fear of failure?

We know one fanbase that would forfeit at least.

I would hope most adults would take their chances playing as opposed to acting like little girls.

Being older, I would want my Alma Matter to make a profit on the game. Wins and losses come regardless.

I'm a fan of University of Alabama. Thus, we go into every game with this feeling because the only way we lose is when we beat ourselves.

Exactly... there's been plenty of times in the past decade or so where I went into game week feeling like my team was a lamb going to the slaughterhouse. Never once would I have wanted them to cancel if given the opportunity. I have enough pride in my team and university that I don't want to see them show fear of anyone.

This was LSU's mindset every game Les Miles was head coach...

So we ended up just firing him and now we have our Death Squad headed by our coon-arse overlord is invoking fear into the hearts of every other SEC school enough for them to quit before we even take the field

I don't think this pertains to us

I just don't buy any of their bullshite rationale. I think they're just scared, just believe they're gonna lose and don't want to play.

Whichever one we're talking about

UT can have this one. They are the only victims here. If they lose two, and UF loses one, then it is huge for them. I would hate for an LSU fan to think of any other team here, but the true victim here is UT. Not the LSU athletic department, who wisely chose the home game. They know LSU isn't getting anywhere close to Atlanta. If they did they would've taken any game time, just not to give another west team(Bama) an extra game edge. LSU's athletic department, has quit on a coach this year, and they just quit on LSU's football team winning the west. Nick Saban would've accepted UF reschedule, then told his players, "I know it sucks, aight um but this is this adversity we have to overcome aight. Um, this is what the process was implemented for, aight. Um, we will put the work in and do what it takes to win these three games on the road, um aight!" Seriously, LSU is the one who backed down from the challenge. UT is the one paying the price. UT should be mad at LSU, that is who screwed them.

Funny coming from a fan of a program that's been irrelevant for over a decade.

just because you conditioned yourself to feel that way.You would rather have a grudge against UF than recognize that LSU could've helped, and would've if they were as competitive as UT. UT might get left out of Atlanta because LSU wasn't willing to give up a home game to compete for Atlanta. That is the truth buddy.
