If you don't admit deep down that Rammer Jammer is bad arse then you are lying to yourself. I don't care what anyone says.
I agree it shouldn't be done after a win vs a directional school or a close win against most SEC schools, though I have no problem with it after a 1 point win over AU, UT, UF, LSU, etc.
It's just one of those things you love if you're an Alabama fan, and hate if you're on the "business end" of it, which is kinda the point.

i dont think anything could be more ghey than "big ghey al" the elephant, and rammer jammer. i dont mind the principle of the cheer, but when it gets to the rammer jammer slammer hammer bammer crammer slammer, part, it is definately ghey. if i had the misfortune of being born and raised in that pathetic excuse for a state, and if i were a bammer, youd never hear those words come out of my mouth.

Its only appropriate in certain venues but yeah its cool, last years Iron Bowl was a good example.

actually, i like the cheer. we did it in high school, except without the ghey sh!t. it just ended after, "we just beat tha hell outta you". i mean seriously, wtf does a magazine and a bird have to do with it? nothing. its stupid and ghey. it sounds like a game 5 years olds play when they hear a word and keep saying it with diff first letters.

It was once for each of Tub's "fingers." I had asked the MDB director to do that, and he said about 200 people had already asked him to do the same thing.
