I just posted the talent level, do you wanna talk about stats?
Both gave up 23 sacks per game, we played one more game than you did.
You rushed for more yards per game and scored more TDs, but JFF played a big role in that and yes you have to count him, but QB running doesn't mean you have a better OL.
Must be apart of the delusion your fanbase has been spewing all offseason.
You brought up draft spots, as if that was indicating talent...
We had the best overall lineman, and the guy opposite him is better than anything you had, and the guy replacing him, is probably as well. If you had to create a combination line with all the lineman, 3 of them would have been Aggies.
And 23 sacks also had to do with the QB, since he was mobile, and tried to escape pressure when he shouldn't have at points, and ran around way more than he should have.

This doesn't make sense

I am not going to make a prediction on what aTm's end of season record will be, but I do think that the physicality of the SEC will have more of an impact this year than it did last year. I can't remember many if any significant injuries especially any that were for an extended period of time suffered by key players for the Aggies last year(I might be wrong and I am curious if any aTm fans would comment on this). With most football conferences injuries can impact the standings at the end of the year but I would argue that this happens more frequently in the SEC than any other conference just due to the style of play.

Dont take this as me hoping for someone being injured because as much as I hate to see the aggies win I dont want anyone being injured even an aggie.
Our defense was riddled with injuries all year... I couldn't even begin to start. Defensive line, safety, corner, linebacker all had significant injuries.

But at the same time that mobility HELPED him escape some sacks.

lol
Joeckel is slightly better than Warmack, I'll give you that, but Warmack > Jake, and CyKo isn't far behind Jake.
The mixed OL would have looked like this if a non biased party were to pick them.
LT - Luke
LG - Chance
C - Jones
RG - Fluker (would have been moved inside so he and Matthews could both play)
RT - Jake
Unless you think your C really is better than Jones, but since you haven't watched all of BJ's games and I haven't seen all of your C's games, neither of us could probably accurately make that call, so I think pro scouts putting Barrett higher is enough indication.

Warmack is a guard... so he's better than Jack at being a guard, but if both were in the draft this year? Jake would be drafted higher.
LT - Luke
LG - Chance
C - Jones
RG - Ogbuehi
RT - Jake
Cedcric, Jake, and Luke are all elite top 15 draft picks. Thus, 3 out of 5.

Based off of position, Warmack is one of the best Guard prospects in a loooong time. On a big board everyone would probably put Warmack higher, if you didn't count what position they play. Warmack is a better Guard than Jake is a Tackle.

Agreed... but Jake is a better tackle than anything Alabama had...

Mike Sherman said Cedric O could be the best offensive lineman he's ever coached. I'll take the word of the man that scouted, recruited, and developed him, as well as Joeckel and Matthews, over your assessment of Fluker. But agree to disagree, I guess.

I agree, I think he's the best guard prospect in a very long time, and I hope he falls to the Cowboys, but every big board takes position in to consideration. Marginal analysis and point of diminishing returns is something every one takes in to account.

I don't disagree, but I'm not seeing how that matters exactly, I mean if we did a point system with rankings? Like number 1 gets 10 points, etc, like how polls are.
My list, agree to disagree.
1. Joeckel (10)
2. Warmack (9)
3. Jake (8)
4. Fluker (7)
5. CyKo (6)
6. Jones (5)
7) Cedric (4)
8) Steen (3)
9) Lewis (2)
10) Thomas (1) I really don't even know who you guys started at the other Guard spot, it was never something I looked at, was it Brian Thomas?
Alabama : 30
A&M : 25
Maybe I missed something when adding, gump education and what not.

I imagine you'd have some revisions to my list, and obviously it isn't an accurate representation of which OL was indeed better, but I don't see either of us convincing the other.

I can't believe that this thread started out as a rivalry troll, and as ended up becoming a pissing contest between aTm and Bama fans. Only on the Rant.

True, personally I want Cleveland to take him. I know people give T-Rich a hard time, but with a new system this year he'll do better, but a big problem he had outside of the knee surgeries before the season and the ribs, oh and virtually no passing game, was horrible interior play. Mack is good, but he didn't have his best year, the Guard play was especially horrible, adding Warmack next to Joe Thomas would help him out.

Me and TelFAW? We're not having a pissing contest, a legitimate discussion is more than possible, and I think me and him are having one right now.

Anyone that does not think A&M is not the true rival for LSU, does not understand the history. Bama is only a rival because of Saban. Aggies suck no matter who coaches them!
