The talk of Patric going to the NFL draft as a TE is stupid.
I think Patric will have a valuable NBA career like Haslem.

Making the tourney isn't really one of the goals of this team
Please show me where I said that was your goal. Oh..you can't.
My point is that this game is entirely meaningless. UF is making the tourney. You're ranked in the top 5. You're leading the SEC. You will have a high seed come march. This game is essentially irrelevant. Even if you had lost this game it wouldn't negatively affect your season.
A dude grabbing a loose ball in this game being the "play of the year" is hyperbole at its absolute finest.

This game was not meaningless.
It was a game that we needed before going to KY. We need a two game cushion. We needed to win on the road on a tough environment. They want to continue the streak which is now tied for most SEC wins in a row with the 2007 team. We are building something to win it all come March. Everything is important.
This was the best play (Gator) I've seen all year, and any Gator would agree with me. And it shows our underclassmen what is expected of Gator players. We play hard, and to continue to win, we have to continue to play hard.
No hyperbole, just is.

If he was one inch shorter it'd be smart, 6' 9" is probably too tall to play in the NFL but damn as a redzone threat he'd be sick and he's already more built than most NFL TE's. Still though a backup 6 to 8th man on an NBA roster is a better career than even a superstar TE ala Jimmy Graham. 10-15 years at 2 to 3 mil is better than 5 or 6 at 4 million or so-- especially given that you can't extend into your early to mid 40s overseas and still remember your kids' names.

I had a play sort of like that in high school against our rivals we never beat.
We came really close in that game and my play was in a critical time. It was only play of the year because the ball was closer to a guy way more athletic than me and no one expected me to get it
