I always loved the Pistol Pete movie. We probably watched it 50 times in elementary/junior high.

How many times do you think we watched it lol. I had teachers who were extras in the movie so we had to watch it 10 times a year just so they could see themselves in it

Of course Pete is always remembered by his scoring. But not many said much about how very good he was as a passer. He faked a lot of his teammates with balls he passed only to have them unprepared to catch them. And the majority of them were perfect passes. He was a magician with a basketball. Red Aurback once said Pete was the best and had Pete demonstrate a forward pass that actually went sideways. They had to show the pass in slow motion to see how he did it.

Does anyone remember when there were real HORSE contests between NBA players on CBS? Pete was awesome in those. How cool would that be to see now with players like Kobe and Lebron and KD?
