Pio, do you see any SEC teams going yard in the Big Dance?

I'm thinking Tennessee and Alabama could both finally score their very first ever Final Four appearances.

I feel it

I hope Pio predicts no SEC team will win the big dance. It’s our only shot.

I think UT and Auburn have a better shot “overall” to go father because they play good defense.

But it all depends on the matchups.

Pio will give an opinion once the brackets are set.

If Vescovi and JJJ were more reliable shooters, I'd love our chances. But both of those guys can score you 25 one night and 6 the next.

If Edwards can play anywhere near where he did against Bama and their defense can just improve a little, Kentucky could win the whole damn thing.

Looking at the likely tournament teams:

Auburn: does not perform as well on the road. Can Shoot poorly for extended periods. Not totally dependent on one scorer. Can light it up at times.

Alabama: can shoot. Lots of shooters. Defense? Lack of big bodies? Sears is the truth.

USC: exceeds expectations. Plays their game. Coach of the year.

Tennessee: great pieces. Scorer, shooters, bigs, and PG. I believe they have the best chance to play 3 weeks of March Madness.

Kentucky: talented, but young. Playing better now than earlier. I wish we had Dillingham.

Florida: good guards, good size. Getting better at the right time. Might be a good sleeper pick to Sweet 16.

MSU: one of the best bigs in the conference. Not the best shooting team.

A&M and Ole Miss: need a run down the stretch and in the SECT to make the field.

The way UK played this past Sat may mean they are hitting their stride. Neither Bama and UK play great D though.

I thought the same after they beat Auburn. Cal even called out his haters after the game. They proceeded to choke against LSU. Who knows.

I think Alabama has the best chance but what happens when their shots arent falling and they play a defensive team?
