Good lawd, I remember UGA fans having these same type feelings of superiority going into the Ole Miss game last season.

And I kind of feel like we go through this overselling, overhyping of Georgia every single year. Georgia is ranked 11, for no reason whatsoever. They've done nothing worth noting, and every year they beg for attention until they get their feelings hurt.
I feel like this is going to happen again this year. They could win, hell, it's College Football. But this seems like a repeat of last year with Ole Miss.

Said before the season started MSU was a dark horse and Fitz was legit. Merlin is a QB whisperer. They will make too much noise this year. Have them beating UGA by 6-11 points.

The a-hole of the south would be Gordo, Alabama.

Kind of a pathetic attempt to divert the attention away from Georgia's mediocrity in the face of dominating the recruiting trail, no?

Wasn't AH a thief before he was a murderer?

Nah, it was battery -- on Georgia's defense. Why are you taking so many stupid, cheap shots?

There is also an old saying: “If you sleep with dogs, eventually you’re gonna get fleas.” And, by the time Meyer left UF, his program was like a fleabag motel, infected from the shady characters he recruited and the discipline he failed to instill. The fact is, Meyer gave his players so much rope that you just knew they would eventually construct a noose and choke the life out of what he built at UF.
I got a first-hand look at Meyer’s discipline the year Will Muschamp succeeded him at UF and kicked star cornerback Janoris Jenkins off the team after two marijuana arrests in a matter of weeks. Jenkins transferred to Division II North Alabama, where I went up and interviewed him a few months later.
“No doubt, if Coach Meyer were still coaching, I’d still be playing for the Gators,” Jenkins said. “Coach Meyer knows what it takes to win.”
Without question.
At Florida, Meyer was the best in the business at winning.
At all costs.

How do you not see that we already want him gone?

Miss State, a shite school, having an up year, beats a good school having a down year, and now it is a consensus they can also beat a good school having an up year? On the road in Athens?
shite school? Well....I have to disagree on that one but as an alum, I will wait and see how the next 3 weeks play out before I go all in. State has been here before-and let me down.

It's crazy how many people think State is actually good, and we are overrated somehow. I think UGA wins easily, 38-20.

So far Moo St. has been scoring early and often vs patsies and LSU, which I think is poorly coached.. I wonder how they will react if the scoring is more difficult. Momentum is a big factor in some "high-powered" offenses. If we stop them cold for a couple of quarters, I wonder what it will do to their psyche.

I think Georgia is legit. Mainly cuz their D. Maybe 2nd to Bama this year with State hopefully too. Just need to see State do it on the road. Georgia took over ND stadium so I'm sure their own stadium will be intimidating. I truly believe State is legit and can win due to our own D. I think we are similar teams with similar question marks. Worried the home field advantage can be the difference. If State makes a mistake or gives up a TO early, it could snowball fast. I think Georgia is obviously the favorite but it should be a fight.
