I think the chains are pointless as well. I understand it is to add weight to the shoulders but it seems to be based more on aesthetics than efficiency. It's kind of like hanging bull nuts off the back of your trailer hitch. It doesn't really do anything but people seem to like it.

Upset? I’m just pointing out the idiocy of posting such a photo but I wouldn’t expect you to understand that. This is just another shining example of the level our society has stooped to; the worshiping of athletes, actors, musicians, etc.
Did I hit a nerve with my “whacking off” to the photo comment? Probably did. Wise up you stupid Banafrick before it’s too late. Athletes and others who excel at their craft are to be appreciated, not worshiped.
