That is an awful take

Have the people saying that watched a single UF game

I think it was born out of last year when Trask was a bit more up and down under pressure. Clearly has not been an issue this year.

Kinda throws a lot of the myths about "Trask can't handle pressure" out the window.

People were actually saying this?

Hmmm I just did JT Daniels' formula

38 completions + 4 drops/ 54 attempts - 2 throw aways - 0 spikes- 1 batted pass- 1 hit as thrown

42/50

84%

So, Fields has played in 4 games against cupcakes and his aided by his near 100% completion rate in the first game where maybe 5 of his throws were downfield. I am not sold on Fields and the sample size is far too small meaning he hasn't played in many games and the ones he has played in were against no one with a decent DL or secondary.

With Waddle out they might have the best WR group in college football now as well.

Several NFL scouts have said this as well as several people on this board

This is interesting. I’ve been told by multiple Gator fans that Trask is running for his life every play and Mac is sitting back in a Lazy Boy with all day to throw.

UF's OL gives up a much higher pressure rate than Bama's OL per SEC Stat Cat, despite the sack numbers being lower (which is attributed to how fast Trask can get the ball out).

Weird. I never got that from watching his games. But I also thought Mac Jones was better at it
