Toney is not remotely comparable to Snell. Snell was your whole offense and your other backs are not Snell....not even close to what he was. He was literally the answer every single time and almost never let down. Toney touches the ball 4-6 times a game. Snell was half your offense.

Snell was amazingly accomplished as a UK back. He was an underrated 3* that played with a chip on his shoulder because his big in-state school never offered.

Our team is full of guys like this. Guys who are just as hungry to prove everyone wrong. Snell’s heart was his hallmark. But even the biggest Benny fan would point you to his combine numbers. He wasn’t real fast and he wasn’t real strong.

We happen to have RBs on the roster that have just as big of chips on their shoulder that are faster and stronger. They will thrive in our system as well.

Did Bowden catch a TD pass last year?

Save it every team would just recruit the lunch pail guys you’re talking about if that was all it took to win. Snell was so much more to your team than you are giving him credit for. He was that dude on your roster, I’ll have to see someone step up in his place with my own eyes before I believe it.

32. The number is 32.

"Nobody beats Kentucky 32 years in a row."

That is a fact.

You’ll be introduced to Kavosiey Snije on Saturday. He’s a mix of Bokm Williams and Benny.

My second biggest thing is with franks. If Kentucky puts Franks on his back a few times he will play like shite the rest of the night. With Florida’s OL i don’t see that being very late in the game.

Kentucky fans on Sunday

I mean, we lost our starting QB who won 11 games as a starter. We really don’t have anything to lose. Either we get the expected drop off over his loss or we’re playing with house money the rest of the season.

UK is averaging about 207 Ypg rushing against EMU and Toledo.

I'd be really disappointed in the UF defense if UK gets back to 200 yards rushing on anything less than 50 carries.

That’s true. I also think they were trying to get Terry accustomed to those deep and intermediate throws against lesser competition. We threw way more in the first two games than we have since neal brown was here. I think our backs are more than capable to replicate what Benny produced last year.

Hope you’re wrong, wish I had a good counter argument. You’ll probably be right.

This fact was obvious to anyone who watched. No sense in trying to explain this to UF folks.

UF is only giving up like 2.24 YPC right now. Last year coming into the UK game they had already given up over 5 YPC and 220 yards rushing against Charelston Southern, so the defense is much stingier this year.

UK averaged 7.4 YPC against UF last year.

I guarantee they don't reach that number this year.

In fact, if UK is averaging over 5 YPC, it probably means they have a good chance of winning. UK is only averaged 5.32 ypc right now against sub par competition.

Given all of that, I doubt they average MORE than that against the best defense they have seen this year, but hey, it could happen I guess, but if it does they for sure win.

UK ran 39 times against Toledo and only passed 26 times....

Go back and read his statement. We threw it more relative to how much we’ve thrown since Gran took over and Neal left Not compared to how many rushes we attempt.

We also would have run several more times if we weren’t trying to get Smith more throwing reps.

You don't think they were throwing more to try to be more balanced? The offense was actually pretty bad last year in SEc play, only averaging like 18 PPG.

Regardless I am 100% positive that outside of massive injuries or suspensions that IDK about yet, UK doesn't come get over 7 YPC again...

The offense didn’t really have to be good last year. The defense was dominant.

The offense wasn’t bad it just wasn’t an offense that was going to put up a lot of points.

Are you really trying to make a case that scoring 18 PPG in sec play is something other than a bad offense?

Bad is too simple a description though because the running game was strong.

UK was incredibly one dimensional.

They only passed for 148 ypg in conference last year. Only MSU was worse.

Had they been more balanced they probably run away with the East last year with that once in a generation defense.
