That same Arkansas team that also beat eventual Sugar Bowl winner Ole Miss at home? Doesn't sound too bad of a team to me..

Granted Dobbs is a very gifted runner...but watching him throw the ball should make the Vol fans wince...he just isnt that accurate of a passer.

The key is to stop Vol run game and force Dobbs to throw or scramble on long yardage against a good defense. Like UFs I will add. We gave up way too many rushing yds last year and overrespected Dobbs throwing abilities and hope we dont do that this year. The strength of our defense is the DL and secondary with talented but thin LBer corp. Will be fun to watch our team on defense and see if they keep Dobbs in the pocket....if we dont it will not be good for us on the road.

There is a lotta hype about UT and honestly it is firing up our locker room. UT won 9 games last year I believe and take away beating Vandy and a weak Northwestern....7 wins? UGA & USC were down....who the hell were the 5 teams you beat? Im curious actually since you guys are "back".

Dobbs reminds me more of Juice Williams or a Deshaun Watson.

Much closer to Williams than Watson.

Yes, they're both dual-threat QBs, but Vince Young was really never held in check as a runner throughout his entire career. Dobbs has been held in check quite often, despite his phenomenal rushing games against UGA and UF

VY was absolute money in the biggest of big games throughout his career. His performance against USC will never be topped, but he was just as good in the previous Rose Bowl against Michigan. In the national title season, on the road at Ohio State, Young was held in check running the ball. On the winning drive, he did it almost exclusively from the pocket and dropped the winning TD pass to Limas Sweed in a bucket.

Young's NFL career didn't turn out so well, but it seems like people have already forgotten how incredible he really was at Texas. He got screwed in the Heisman voting in 2005.

Toward the end of the season, Dobbs was actually getting alot better as a passer. If he has improved like folks say he has, the run game will be much more dangerous. Y'all keep over respecting Dobbs, that sounds like a great idea...

I think everyone can tell it is hyping your locker room for all the shite that you're cornerbacks are talking. That is good, because it is hyping us as well... We lost our games by a total of 24 points... To Oklahoma (Made it to Playoffs) To Alabama(National Champ) Florida (SEC East Champ) and Arkansas (Who beat both Ole Miss and LSU).

Florida, on the other hand somehow managed to beat Vandy by 2, and had to go into OT to beat Florida Atlantic? By the way, Northwestern was a 10 win team who wasn't as "weak" as you say, we just beat the ever loving shite outta them...
