I was at the game with my brother and dad (I was probably 12 or 13). I still can't believe it. There was a kickoff return by Memphis that won an ESPY (even though the returner's elbow was down).

For the so called flagship, that is pathetic!. Ut football should never be forced to play in memphis over Neyland.

Well we're not forced to, but we want to play them in basketball in Memphis.

Um,you realize the next year they played in the 'Bowl Alliance' title game and two years later they won the first BCS title? I'm not the world's biggest Vol fan,but that game hardly shook their foundation. Plus, they had been playing off and on since 1968 and Memphis always considered that their Super Bowl-- after they started beating Ole Miss regularly.

TRUTH.

It'll end this year though. Bert'll swallow them up and Stoops'll show em what some real recruits can do. No gimmes for the Grinders anymore.
