re: Not sure if right board - lemon law vehicle question
Posted by shaqfu33 on 1/19/23 at 9:06 pm
I went through this last summer. Had a Ford Explorer < 15k miles. Battery was dead one morning, got a new battery and battery died within 3 days (and continued this pattern). I took it to Ford dealership 3 times. The last time it was there for a month and they couldnt figure out the electronics issue so I started researching Lemon Law.
I ended up sending a certified letter to Ford detailing the issue and dates of service and citing the Lemon Law (this is your step 1). If the car is new and you have to bring to shop for same issue 4 times or 90 days out of commission for same issue I think the Lemon Law applies. You have to give them a reasonable amount of time to fix.
Ford assigned a rep to work with me. They reimbursed me for car plus tax less milesge driven. They reimbursed me for ubers I had to take to/from work. It ended up being a very fair experience all things considered.

The 2 cops resigned, charges were dismissed Monday, and FBI is investigating allegations of racism for how it was handled. Wow.
re: Anyone Currently at the beach?

At Santa Rosa Beach currently. Today was first day this week that Public Beach Access was closed, but for beachfront homes/communities Private Beach Access was still available. Authorities told us that they could not kick us off beach but told us to stay out of water/wet sand as that is considered public. It was not crowded at all.

Thanks for the info. As for the 3 WRs you mentioned, all are taken. But I think I could get Enunwa for really cheap.

Because I drafted Marvin Jones Jr. in the 6th round and Corey Davis in the 8th and neither has done crap. Davis is good but has nobody to throw him an accurate pass. Golladay is better than Jones.
I drafted alot of RBs and picked up Conner - you sacrifice something to do that and it was WRs. Trying to fix that if it makes sense

You neglected to mention the rematch where this kid scored 42 on your school to go to the state championship.

I get that but my funds were taken out of the other account the day after.
Regions (and many other banks) put a hold on the account for a set number of days regardles of when the money is taken out of the account that the check is drawn on. I'm in process of closing my Regions account in near future as well, but you will find this problem at most any bank.

This could be why. She never really does this and it was a rather large amount compared to her regions account balance.
They put a hold on it because the check amount is greater than the account balance. If the deposited check money gets spent and the check bounces, then the account is overdrawn. Pretty standard practice, especially if it's a large amount.
The reason they gave sounds strange though.

Simple minds simple pleasures
Lebron is more athletic than Nurkic and the guy was in no position to make a play and didn't foul him. Big deal.

Stayed on Seven Mile Beach and loved it.
Dinner:
Calypso Grill
Cracked Conch - short rib ravioli was incredible
Edoardos
Lunch:
Sunshine Grill - good fish tacos
We enjoyed all 4 of these spots. We hired a guy a to boat us around and went to Rum Point, Stingray city, etc. I could have spent a day at Rum Point drinking.

Love this debate - compare Honey Badgers stats to Woodson. No comparison. Woodson averaged like 7yds per punt return.

That pic was obviously taken when LSU had blown it open. Crowd was great in 2011.

One name unfamiliar to me that I've seen in some of these threads is Brock Pierce, a child actor from the early 90s. He allegedly was abused and still abuses...in one post, I read he was young Gordon Bombay in Mighty Ducks, so I searched his name, and he is none other than the kid on the bike in Sandlot who argues with Porter and says they "play on a real diamond, Porter."
Sandlot is one of my favorite movies so I had to look into this. Brock Pierce wasn't in Sandlot. That kid from Sandlot is named Wil Horneff in real life.
