I'm not buying into the whole "they need to be paid for their services" bs. These kids earn $60k a year in tuition, books, room/board, food, clothing, equipment, insurance, etc...not to mention access to top notch facilities and medical attention/treatment.
Then there's stipends. And we won't even go into any "under the table" or "illegal" payments they may receive.

Then they can always sell their shite when they're done. How much probably depends upon their performance/popularity, but even a bench warmer can cash in on his bowl ring or jersey.

Sorry I'm not sorry these kids make a pretty damn good living for their services.

I agree with you.

I really hate this black guy in the round table discussion. I don't know who he is but he refuses to ignore the fact that most programs lose money, he just wants the kids to get paid. he refuses to acknowledge the fact that the kids have the opportunity to go get a degree that can put them in a better position than if they had no talent in sports. If they don't want an education, don't go play college sports. Try your hand at a fryer at McDonalds. I don't give a frick what these kids do if they don't want to make a minimal set of grades to stay on the teams.

This special is pissing me off and it isn't even about the Auburn stuff on it. Just the first segment really irritated me with some of the stupidity and these guys ignoring facts that are being told to them.
