Regular season results clearly favor Bama over Notre Dame. Notre Dame meets the “eye test” of who js playing the better ball of the two, right now. I have to go with what’s on paper and not the feels of who looks better. I think they made the right decision.

Yeah, and that was the first time the Irish had ever beat them. Still hurts? Naa....we just won the conference, again. But if it helps you cope that you didn't, sure....keep riding Notre Dame coattails LOL and enjoy your big bowl

Amen. ND has been favored by every selection process since I was born. I had always hoped I'd live long enough to see this. I hope the days of them receiving unwarranted favoritism are over.

It was not a glorious day for college football. The process is broken and a black mark on college football. However, for the first time in my life, ND wasn't given special treatment and there's something to be said for that.

Wait until next year .. they're locked to get in playoff going forward as long they're top 11.
