I'm not ready to say the Vols will win. I still haven't decided if last year was the true talent of this team or if they just quit on Butch after the Florida debacle. I hope it was the latter, but they will have to prove it to me before I invest much time getting excited about them.

Solid take imo. If Pruitt is worth a shite and weeds out Botch’s pussies, 7-8 wins is not some unattainable number.

I don’t doubt that UT has some defensive talent returning, but your offense looks to be pretty awful, which will put much more pressure on the defense.
You named what all his defenses did at FSU, UGA, and Bama, but you’re leaving out how good their offenses were. And he has to oversee both.
Depth on both sides of the ball is also a very big issue at UT. I see the posts about the starting 22 and the stars attributed to their names, but how good is the next layer?
WV is going to come out firing on all cylinders and UT has a new scheme that those veteran players aren’t use to. UGA had a similar situation in Smart’s first season, and it was a tough transition for some of the players.
TN might cover but, on paper, it doesn’t look good for a win.

That's bullshite dude. That Vols team we played last year was slow and soft as shite. That ain't all coaching, but continue with the star gazing to get your energy up. One of the best things on this board is the annual Vol fans realization that they suck again.
