Yup. After last year we are officially enduring the single worst run in football ever. The only thing that comes close is the 40s. We had Bear Bryant coming in to be our head coach but he left for the war and we were stuck with a run of craptacular coaches.

Our worst run of football ever and we just had our worst season ever. I feel like the guy being put to death in Life of Brian. "How can it get any worse?"

62-14 vs Kansas State is pretty cringy as well...

The week AFTER Kansas State lost a game 66-14

Craziest thing about that is the very next week A&M went to Lubbock and beat Tech like 52-20. And Tech was the team that beat KSU 66-14.

Wrong. Auburn didn't play football in 2012.

We had a team, they just didn't play.

I was at the last one that 10RC suffered. Fun game. Some Vowel fans were quite rude after the game, at least the ones who were left.

It amazes me why the VOLS keep wanting to talk about football ?

It's called a vastly overrated sense of one's self worth. Or just delusion.

Figured 5 years of Croom would have accounted for more than that by itself.

As horrid as LSU was, we only had 2 games that entire decade that we lost by 40+. Both were to Steve Spurrier.

Over that same time span, you can tack on these additional 40+ point losses by SEC teams to Spurrier, too:

AU 2
UK 2
UGA 1
Ark 1
USC 1
Vandy 1

I seem to remember Bama beating someone 49-0 at BDS several years ago. Can’t recall the team but someone may know the name.

This number is old too. We got the all-time record sometime in 2017. Something like 390 games now.

Alabama shutout LSU last year. You've also got Vandy's wrong. Bama shut them out 59-0 in '17.

You had me curious to see how their daddy has done in this same time span, since we now know their step-daddy has avoided such embarrassment.

40+ point losses by Texas A&M's daddy, big bro, older cousin, other big bro, and younger cousin in the last 20 years
Older Cousin - Houston: 7
Other Big Bro - Texas Tech: 7
Daddy - Texas: 4
Younger Cousin - UTSA: 3 (joined FBS in '11)
Big Bro - TCU: 0

Step-daddy - LSU: 0

No worries my man. At least you contributed.

I would have posted the list if the other user would have contributed to the original thread topic THEN asked to see shutouts.
