I grew up in Meridian, MS, where most State fans are sidewalk fans. Plenty of ol’ baws driving around Newton and Lauderdale counties in old Chevys with “RedneckLife” and “Hail State” bumper stickers.

Not nearly as many hicks as a percentage of our fanbase as the big schools. The big six schools have by far the most redneck fans.

No. I've lived in East Central Mississippi my entire life, and I've worked in Meridian the last 22 years. Mostly State and bandwagon Bama fans. Ole Miss fans have been dwindling in the area over the years.
