Now LSU fans on the other hand, they may actually be starting to hate Bama

I don't hate Bama near as much as I did 15-40 years ago.

The only long term 'hate' I ever had was Spurrier@UF....which is why Tommy Frazier is one of my all-time heroes.

That 30 year home losing streak to the Tide, culminating in that '98 4th quarter fiasco, brought out some serious hate in me for Alabama.

But yeah, I hated UF during the 90s as well.

frick, I hated FOOTBALL in the 90s.

Saban knows he has to get past LSU to get to the BCS C.G.

TAM is not the worry yet. The Aggies wil become a perennial SEC power like Bama and LSU, but their talent level is not there yet.

Saban simply made a big mistake throwing the ball instead of taking advantage of his big offensive line and big fast RBs at the end of their game last year.

Even Saban makes a mistake sometimes.

Oh yeah, I watched most of the Bryant era (I think I saw a total of 3 wins). But at least Coach Bryant had a certain dignity about him. Spurrier was a smart-arse, I really did hate him.

since last century

Choice of words selected to make the time period in question seem more imposing and psychologically satisfying. Sort of like saying that, during the 20th century, LSU could barely manage to cobble together a win against Alabama.

10 years? no

LSU/Auburn used to be a lot more intense

The LSU/Bama thing picked up more steam when Saban got there in 2007

This is the definition of a rivalry.

pick a fan from each team and point a gun at their head and ask is your team going to win, if you say yes and they lose the trigget gets pulled. If both fans say yes then there is a rivalry.

LSU vs Auburn from 2000-2007 was the best rivalry in the country IMO.

From 2008-present it's definitely been LSU vs Bama.

The LSU/Bama rivalry is about to become a three way with TAM in the SEC West.

Joining the SEC with Manziel just might turn the Aggies' recruiting program into a Texas sized giant recruiting power--challenging Bama and LSU in recruiting dominance.

Furthermore, getting Cameron to run LSU's offense can only intensify the Bama/LSU matchups in the future.

When Pease gets his offense fully implemented at Florida, its a 4-way in the SEC.

For some reason, Richt hasn't build a dominate recruiting program at Georgia.
