The Georgia loss prevented you from playing in the National Championship game and possibly winning a title.

Very true.

That was a great game, though, and one of the reasons I was so excited Oklahoma was coming to the SEC.

Yes it was. I just wish we didn't have a boneheaded coach that knew how to manage a game, a game clock and when and who to kick it to someone.

As much as that Florida loss hurt, the Georgia was worse in my opinion. That was the game I knew FULR wasn't our answer.

I know close games usually hurt the most, but man that 2019 game must have been tough to stomache. I mean when you look back and OU had a future superbowl winning QB and pro-bowl WR on it and the beating they took... I know that LSU team was one of the best ever, but that game must have hurt even if it wasn't close.

Ahh back when the game was savage. I miss those days.

The Ahmad Black int was one of the best DB plays made in a Natty game imo and is always overshadowed by "the hit". He took the ball right out of the WRs hands after a perfect pass by Bradford. I felt for Sam after that one.

I don't want to derail the thread...but...what surprised me was how conservative he got with the play calling in OT. I felt like that was what killed you. Anyway....both teams were great teams.

You should request to delete this thread or remove Arkansas, Missouri, Texas A&M from the list then redo the totals. These threads are cringeworthy because of the known embarrassing history against the SEC in NCG/CFP matchups.

It has been said before but rarely when it was more applicable but its a damn shame someone had to lose that game. Luckily the Dawgs pulled it off but it was anyone's game. By far the best game I ever attended and arguably the best Rose Bowl ever. One of the top 10 best CFB games ever.
