OU has had some pretty amazing TO luck right now. They have recovered 7 of 8 fumbles they have forced and have lost on 2 of 6.
If they have average turnover luck, I am not sure how elite the OU D actually is.

The funny thing is that while OU's offense sucks... it may still be the best offense Texas has faced this season.
MSU is 81st.
Michigan is 100th.
UTSA is 106th.
CSU is 110th.
ULM is 115th.
OU has already faced an offense ranked better than Texas (Tennessee).

When you have one of the worst offenses in the nation, your defense is constantly staying on the field and being put in bad positions.
If anything, it's honestly impressive Michigan's defense has been able to hold on to rankings that high tbh

Luck is generating 3 turnovers in one game. What isn’t luck is being known as one of the most prolific defenses turnover wise for now 1.5 seasons.
Turnovers are a factor to a good defense. Just like sacks, TFLs, pressures, etc.

What you don’t get is that you lost to an OU defense last year that is not comparable to this years lol.
Sure, our offense sucks. However with two weeks off plus the emotion this game brings out, I totally buy into the idea the defense can nearly win this game by themselves and stay on the field. Generate an interception or two, maybe a fumble, give Hawkins half a field to score and that’s a very winnable formula.
You guys are easy to forget how average this inferior OU defense made ewers look for 75% of this game.
Will an OU win like this bring a hangover? Absolutely, I anticipate if they win like this they’ll shite the bed against South Carolina next week….
…but I don’t care because it will at least shut you guys up again for another twelve months and I can get some peace and quiet.
