The Sooners are going to try to replicate Lebbys gameplan two years in a row. Ball control/unorthodox inside zone, wide splits, and desperately try to create turnovers. I imagine we’re going to see a similar approach from here on out. Texas needs to burn these teams early and often.

Because we want to talk football? Why is that annoying? You don't have to read the threads?

As for the OP.. I agree. It will be the exact same gameplan that OU did last year and State did two weeks ago.

We'll probably also try and stop your horns another x4 straight times from the 1-yard line. Definitely don't let us do that again...

With a 270LB freshman center making his first start ever.

I think one big difference this year to last is Sark can talk to the QB up until 15 seconds are on the play clock.. the formation is pretty much set at that point.. and if the ball is snapped.. Sark has a pretty good idea where to go..

I'm sure it also helps for him to communicate what to look for in that situation.. something that is being seen on tape that Ewers may not see..

All of those things help a little bit. Perhaps that explains why we have been so much better in the RZ too..

Yeah, but Auburn doesn't have a 4'6 dude that they can throw over the OL and over the goal line like we do..

OU’s helmet value is adding false flex to this game. OU might get a field goal.

Meanwhile, Texas will have the scoreboard spinning like a gas pump.

It’s definitely a gameplan. It’s the Art Briles veer and shoot special. Line the WRs as wide as possible. Implement unorthodox inside zone concepts. Layer it with a bunch of counters, draws, pitches, etc. Throw in a dual-threat QB and it’s a headache getting the offense off the field. Vanderbilts pistol is very similar.

A&M is a cult, sure, but they seem to know it. Texas is just tennessee without the vulgarity. Odious. Oklahoma is probably texas but without recent success or the 10rc vulgarity.

I think we see Johnny Nansen's 3 Deep Nascar package a lot this weekend.. I also think I combined two different defenses into one name there, but I don't remember what they called it..

I do believe we will be more ready for that scheme this year.. or at least I hope so..

Ant Hill and Simmons are gonna feast on Hawkins though.
