Halftime: Oklahoma 45, Baylor 35
Scorching first half for Xzayvier Brown, as he already has 16 points.
The Sooners are shooting 51% while holding Baylor star Cameron Carr to just 2 points on 1-of-8 shooting.
Can Moser keep or stretch lead? Stay tuned.

OU vs WVU for the Crown and $300k in NIL today. OU started as -3 pt favorites now shows OU -3.5. They finished year strong and could at least go out with something.
Also of note yesterday,
Clemson men’s basketball GM Lucas McKay left the program to join University of Oklahoma men’s basketball as general manager.
McKay will work with Washington Wizards star Trae Young, who's assistant GM for the program
OU is finally putting some resources into mens basketball. Something Porter has had little of until now.

Congrats OU. At least you won something. The rest of us can't say that.

Oklahoma has completely flipped this game, currently on a 21-2 run over the last 6+ minutes
OU trailed by as much as 15 - they now lead West Virginia by 6

OU up 41-37 at halftime. What a flip they did! WV couldn't miss from 3 and put OU down by 15. OU fought back and lead by 4. 19 point swing in less than 10 minutes of game time.
I bitched a lot about Moser this year but I must give him credit for getting his players to never quit. And convincing them to take this tournament. 2 weeks after their last game too. Its quite amazing the turnaround. From losing 9 straight SEC games to closing out season great. Winning 2 SEC tourney games. And now having won 2 Crown games vs P4 teams.
Its been written how little we put into mens basketball. Trae Young invested money a year ago to get Fears and was appointed as assistant GM of team. Now we went out and hired a real basketball GM from Clemson. And the wallets will be opened up.
OU has a great basketball background. Never won it all but damn they came close and also produced some great talent. New AD decided to not fire Moser and I’m willing to see what he can do with some assets.
Win or lose he’s shown he has the locker room unified. Kept them playing hard when it would have been so easy to quit. Hats off to him.
It all started when that popcorn machine caught fire vs Georgia. So did the team. Hope we can close out WV but regardless, I want to see Moser with better talent next year.

This encapsulates our season perfectly. Down 15, up 13, then allow late game run. Then go up 6 in OT and then allow a 13-0 run to end it.
Once Moser gets better players who can close out in crunch time he can coach. Players are just too dumb to play smart basketball.
Still proud of how they finished reg season and competed in SEC tourney and won 2 of 3 in Crown. Its sucks to lose the way we did/do but coach at least kept team together. Some money will make a big difference.
