Rented a beach house in Exuma back in July. That water might be the prettiest water my eyes have ever seen. Beautifully nice people there too, to a person.

I hope they make it through unharmed and are able to repair anything lost.

Prayers to the Bahamas

Words do mean things.

Asking God to keep the good people of the Bahamian islands safe in the storm.

Dude, I hope they got the hell out of there

There’s absolutely nowhere for them to go. There’s over 700 islands in the Bahamas. I have family in the most populated. In the last 7 years I’ve had 2 aunts lose their homes to hurricanes. My uncle almost died in one. It’s their way of life. Most can’t just get on a plane to the US. Most can’t even get to the main islands like Nassau. All they can do is ride it out. These are real people who entire lives are changed in a few days and we are all totally helpless to help. Headed to church right now.

Prayers for their safety. Forget the material stuff, just survive. After Michael I can’t imagine being trapped on an island with s stronger, slower moving storm.

Amazing at how massive it is and only moving 8-10 mph. It is going to be bad.

Hope it hangs a right and heads north and out to sea...

Other then the traffic I more or less liked living in Florida. Sure it was hot in the summer but it is warm all over the South.

After riding out my first hurricane the appeal of Arkansas got a lot stronger. A tornado is a scary thing but its path of devastation is limited.

A hurricane can flatten entire towns and flood whole states.

When I helped to take supplies down after Katrina a lot of the towns looked like the pictures you saw of cities leveled during World War II, only partially flooded to boot.

Best of wishes to everyone in this thing's path.
