Say we have the same scenario as last year and Bama beats Arky early on. LSU beats Bama in Baton Rouge and Arky comes in and beats LSU. 3 way tie for the West and UGA wins the East. The highest ranked West team goes to Atlanta to be upset by UGA.

But seriously...let them win something when it counts then we can talk about adding them to the discussion. Anytime they have had a chance on a big stage the blow it...
ie...anytime they rep the west in the SEC championship...or play Ohio State in a BCS game...
Arky can brag about beating whoever all they want but the bottom line is Arky hasn't done anything since they got in the SEC...
This is in no way to say that they haven't fielded good teams the last couple years, but they lose when it counts most.

Ok, but the SEC still has more legitimate threats than any other conference:
Big East:
ACC: Virginia Tech*
Big12: Oklahoma
Big10: Michigan*, Wisconsin*
PAC12: USC
SEC: Arkansas, Alabama, LSU
*If I had to choose.
