Paid attendance for the Arkansas-WIU game was 7712 according to their pdf box score. Actual attendance was 4734.

Regardless of the nascent flame war here, I do like that Arkansas and LSU report both paid and actual.

playing baseball in mid Feb. is just dumb. The MLB pitchers and catcher reported for spring training just this week. C'mon, the pro league won't even start for another 6 weeks.
4/5ths of the country is in shitty Feb/early March weather land and teams in tropical swamps that have 10+ more home games a year wonder why other schools don't draw as many people as they do. Common sense is lacks.

It amazes me how many different threads there are that reference baseball attendance. Do you guys actually care about this or are you just trying to annoy the Arky fans? I hope it's the latter.

So what you're saying is 3000 season ticket holders didn't show up and 3000 SRO tickets took their place?

South Carolina defeated Liberty 4-3 on Opening Day in front of a sellout crowd of 8,242 fans at Carolina Stadium.
Is this actual or paid?
At South Carolina, they are typically the same thing..and Sat. and Sun. games were already standing room only before Friday's game: looks like there may be a chance of rain around midday tomorrow (game was scheduled for 1:30), so if it happens we may have it pushed later to a night game (chance of rain drops off around 5-6pm), but temps will be 40-50 so I expect both games to have around 8K numbers as well...

Its just another competition because SEC teams usually comprise 4 of the top 5 attendance avgs in the country every single year.

Lets be honest. The competition is for second place, first place is already locked up again.

It seemed like Auburn had around 2k or 3k show up for the game, which was actually somewhat surprising considering how bad we are, and that first pitch was at 3:00.
Until Jay Jacobs is gone and we can get a competent AD in, I'm not expecting us to be able to sell out our 4k seat stadium more than a a few times a year. It's hard to get people out to watch a baseball series when we're this bad and people are still having to pay for tickets.

It really is hard to fathom that Jacobs is still there. My condolences.
Arky - a little less than 5k is nothing to be ashamed of, considering the weather and time.
South Carolina looks to be off to another good start.
A&M will fit in nicely.

On a chilly night, Florida set a school record for opening-night attendance with a crowd of 5,771. It was also the sixth largest crowd in school history.
Lost to Duke.
