My point, exactly.

You think like losers; therefore you end up with a mediocre program.

And have ruined the program for those of us who know success is possible.

I'm sorry for being rational.
We needed a monster season this year to take a big step forward and now we only have a chance at a good season.
This good season will go a long way.
But next year is a rebuilding year, so I'm worried about how that will go.

First step we need to take though is bowling in the north endzone. We don't have the money and we don't have the fan support right now, but this is a build it and they will come deal.
We have to make our stadium comparable to the big boys in the league.
Until we do that, I expect us to do what we've been doing as far as being mediocre and whatnot.

Yall are 7-4 w/ 2 games left. Why do you get to play more games than everyone else?

A 7-4 Arkansas team, on a 4 game streak (2 SEC), is "within striking distance" of the rankings.

You losing to LSU, and us beating them for the 3rd straight time, gives us the same season record. I'm not saying that will happen, but it's what crossed my mind when I read the above.

Dude, Arkansas did not get a single vote in either the AP or the coaches' poll this week.

Ole Miss got enought to be at #30, which is what I meant by being "in striking distance".

I think we will beat LSU this week and may even blow them out. Nutt seems to have Miles' number, LSU is obviously down and even if Jefferson is back he won't be at full-strength, and now that a special season is out of reach, our team starts playing well--as usual.

Of course, I could be totally wrong, but that is the way I see it right now.....

We're not losing in LIttle Rock to Miss. St., hence 7-4.

A 7-4 Arkansas team on a 4 game winning streak has just as much chance at cracking the Top 25 this Sunday as anyone #26-#40.

Ole Miss wins, they are Top 25.

I think that if Arkansas runs the table they deserve to be ranked.

Easily. LSU is still ranked the number 8 team in the country for some reason and there is a distinct possibility that we blow them the frick out. We haven't won an SEC game by less than 13 points this year.

I'm not calling us a Top 25 team now, but we are certainly playing like one, and extending the streak to 4 over Miss. St., or 5 over LSU, warrants a #21-#25 if you ask me.

i agree completely.
Ole Miss
Bama
LSU
Auburn
Arkansas

are all top 25 quality teams. Ole Miss, Auburn, and Arkansas are all getting fricked in the polls right now.

I am not really sure what this is supposed to mean??? We lose to the #1 and #2 teams in the country and you think we should be lower than #8. I agree that we have not been playing well, but that is how the polls work. They don't care how you win, just that you win.

LSU will lose again this year.
I hope you're ready for that.
