The SEC as a whole is pretty classy. This is just more proof as to why we are by far the best conference and best fans in the nation.

I'm glad this is stickied... it reminds me that I need to go get a card and actually send it, rather than having good intentions and then forgetting.

This is from the official South Carolina Gamecock's facebook page-
South Carolina Gamecocks
Official update on Marcus Lattimore (Full Link: LINK ): "Marcus suffered a significant impact to the front of his right knee during the Tennessee game on Saturday. The ensuing hyperextension of the knee resulted in injury to several ligaments. There were no fractures or additional injuries, according to team physician Dr. Jeffrey Guy. Lattimore's surgically repaired left knee was uninjured during the play.
Lattimore is resting comfortably and will continue to be evaluated over the course of the week. Marcus has already begun the process of prehabilitation prior to surgery and to his eventual return to football."
Also:
University of South Carolina Student Government will host a Marcus Lattimore Well Wishes and Happy Birthday event tomorrow, Monday, October 29 (Marcus's 21st birthday.) The event will begin at 5 PM in front of McKissick Museum on the historic Horseshoe. All fans of Marcus Lattimore are invited to attend. Speakers will include Student Government President Kenny Tracy, University President Harris Pastides, Football Team Chaplain Adrian Despres, Coach Steve Spurrier and some of Marcus's football teammates. Cards will be available for individuals to sign with well wishes and happy birthday messages to be delivered to Marcus.

Thanks Doug, pretty significant first post.
I think we should all write letters to him to let him know we are praying for him and hoping to see him return to football. Letter can be encouraging and he will need it.
