I remember that game well. We turned the ball over inside the redzone every drive lol. Worse embarrassment ever. Also, Croom refused to fire his assistants that were so bad on offense. It was his downfall.

Croom was left a mess and on top of that he booted many of our top talent which I agree he had to in order to clean up the mess. We had some thugs and bad apples on the roster who did not care.
Having said all of that, he was starting to build an O-line (which Mullen inherited) and a running game. But he had some very VERY bad assist coaches he was too loyal to and again, that was his downfall. He did beat Bama twice and probably only because his team was inspired. Good man, but in over his head. HC have to fire people.

Ole Miss is just Ole Miss. Their best baseball teams in history fail to see Omaha. Their chance to win the Sec tourney failed against Msu. My dad recorded that game lol. They never sniffed a final-4 in mens hoops and now even though they got Ncaa after them for cheating in womens basketball we have taken that shite over as well. But hey, they never lose a party, right? Lmao

Man, I was stuck at a softball tournament, someone from church came and told me the score, The only thing I could get out was "you gotta be shitting me". Nope, he was shitting me not.

We made up for it putting 55 points on them. All is good. That's just the egg bowl and it never goes as expected.

Why would you do this to yourself? As a Kentucky fan if I did this I couldn’t get out of bed in the morning. And MSU’s history ain’t much better.
