ah.....gotcha. I, for one, could care less which of the three will be selected. I'll be on board with whatever because it won't effect my view on Ole Miss, the team, or the sport being played.
....though I do think that the bear is much better for merchandising. That is the only concrete benefit of having a mascot in my opinion anyways.
