when a stadium is first built they usually just have the bleachers. Expansions take time to fund, but the will happen.

Just like TS will either get expanded or we will build a new one( )

I don't think ours did, but I'm not positive...

Building a new one would suck. It would ruin going to LSU football games for soooo many people, me included...

The last time our baseball field had bleachers, the diamond was located where parking lot behind the West side of the football field is currently at.

Swayze field has been chair-backed since it was first built. We just tore it down and rebuilt it bigger.

Wasn't alive....but I have seen some old footage of sports back through out the decades. The old University Golf Course in the 40's-50's was a 9-hole course located where Tad Smith Coliseum now sits.

Student Services(Martindale) Building used to be the basketball gym back then.

it was more of a shot at the people that would rather build a new one than expand and clean up what we already have.

I give State one thing. The left field lounge is a pretty awesome baseball environment unlike any in the country.

Ole Miss and everybody has just now after a decade caught up to Mississippi State, but Ole Miss' new stadium is top notch. I don't see why LSU put the pitchers warming up in the playing field like it was Babe Ruth Little League field in the new Box? I fear for our pitchers when they are warming up at the Box.

My guess is the next phases at Alex Box will have to wait till all the current building projects at LSU are done:

-New Material Science Building
-New Parking Garage
-New Business Building
-North Stadium Improvement

If I missed any, feel free to add them.

Because we can give the other players shite while warming up. Y'all have no competitive advantage at your field obviously so maybe that should have been a consideration.

You're referring to OUS not putting opposing pitchers warming up in a hostile environment, right?

Ok...just making sure because you're completely full of shite. The only way they would be in a more hostile environment is if they were actually IN the student section instead of right in front of them.

Why would they?
By the way, cute little joke
