I think Ole Miss will dominate this game. They have the best D in the SEC and it's not even close. Remember, defense wins championships.

34-10 Rebels

What say ye?

We have one of those defenses where it's going to take superb QB play to beat us, and LSU just doesn't have that at this point

That's a weewee prediction... What makes you think LSU will score 27 points against the best D in the SEC. Possibly the best in the NCAA

freshman and first time starters have come a long way since Miss State and Auburn, who were simply terrible match-ups for LSU at the time. Ole Miss however is an ideal match-up, and we just had the perfect practice game vs an almost identical offense in Kentucky.

LSU by 10.

Agreed. Jennings will not look good against this great D

17-14 LSU with my heart. 31-10 Ole Miss in reality. If we can't throw the ball we are doomed. The D will be gassed just like it has been in the past when we can't move the ball and our D stays on the field to long. I think it will be close for the first half but Ole Miss will slowly pull away in the second half.

How, exactly is OM an ideal matchup for y'all? Weak QB against one of the best secondaries in the country, mediocre offensive line against a solid d line with tons of depth, and an inexperienced secondary against one of the best QB's in the conference. Mismatch for LSU it seems to me

I think LSU will put up a good fight in the first Q but after that Ole Miss dominates

I tend to agree with this assessment and our coach isn't inclined to try anything different when he can't trust our QB.OM will know what's coming and will load the box and force the pass. Our QB made a number of foolish mistakes against New Mexico and even though we beat Kentucky he missed open receivers a number of times because he's so scared of making another mistake.

I think our defense keeps it close for a time but too many three and outs will ultimately take its toll and OM will pull away. We certainly can't play catchup ball without a good passing attack. OM-24
LSU-13
Damn it

Do you know your team? You certainly only know half the story for LSU.

Ole Miss has played a lot of nickle sets on defense and are nasty swarming teams trying to run around them. LSU is going to run right at your defense, which is the type of style to give your defense the most trouble. The lack of a passing game from LSU helps mitigate this to a large degree, but it's the sort of match-up all of my Ole Miss buddies are worried about.
