I wouldn't be so sure… Nutt has LSU and Arky's number they play them close every year.. hell as bad as OM was last year they had a chance against both LSU and Arky.

It has nothing to do with Nutt. Ole Miss even played us tough when Coach O was at the helm. Remember that 06 team that was talented everywhere, yet needed a blocked EP and OT to win in BR mind you.

They played us tough under Cutcliffe, even with an Eli Manningless team.

Well it sounds like everything is going smoothly for state and the state posters who said their linebacker play would be fine with this stud from Clemson coming in were right as usual.

Any coach really. I dont read much into it, but I didnt expect him to set the world on fire anyway. Good luck to the guy though

There will be a mass suicide come november. Some state fans may end it after the first loss knocks them out of the national championship hunt, but the rest will do it after the butt fricking formerly known as egg bowl. We are talking domination like the butt fricking 45-0, if that's possible. Just a FYI, if you want to witness a raping that was done on live tv, watch the 08 butt fricking bowl

Masoli was a turnover machine that got outplayed by Relf overall.

This post.....disproves the whole "Coonass knows football" argument.

Masoli:

56.4%- Relf 58.6%
2039 passing- Relf 1789 (Masoli threw 76 more passes to get that extra 250 yards)
14 TD's passing- Relf 13 TD's
13 INT's- Relf 6 INT's

544 rushing- 6td's- Relf 713 yards, 5 TD's

QB rating- 122- Relf 141

not to mention that Relf had State's offense as one of the leaders in 3rd down conversions

Relf had the better season

Masoli padded his numbers when OM was Down by 2+ TDs. Which was almost every game.

relf looked like a World beater against decent secondaries....

Relf: Against LSU: 5 of 8 for 35 yards and 2 Int.
Russell was : 5 of 10 for 81 yards and 3 Int

MSU Lost 29-7

Against Alabama:
Relf: 8 of 16 for 70 yards and finished with 7 yards on 13 rushes and one Int
Russell: 8-16 80 yards with one Int

MSU Lost 30-10

those were the top secondaries last year and the same for this year....
