Congrats on that gator bowl and music city bowl victories. We've been to and won 3 cotton bowls in the last 10 years which is better than anything y'all have accomplished, ever. And that west championship was pretty sweet when you won 8 games while LSU and Auburn both had losing seasons in the same year, and Alabama won 7 games. Our 7-1 in the SEC in 03 was more impressive than that.

This. Hell our 9 win seasons in 08 and 09 were more impressive. At least we won the cotton bowls we played in and finished in the top 25

Beat several top 10 teams, including the 3 defending national champions and an 11-1 Texas Tech team. But I'm sure they will argue that Merlins and his '10 team would have beaten that same Texas Tech team.

State has played in a Cotton Bowl somewhat recently, Ole Miss has never played in the SEC title game.

Both of them had winning seasons. 98 State lost to a 4 win LSU team and got drilled by a 5 win Okie State team.
