I still don't feel a postseason ban is going to happen.

We essentially low-balled on our proposal, but that's still based on what the NCAA is saying is acceptable.

The worst of the penalties occurred 6+ yrs ago under a different staff. Bowl ban hurts current players and staff, not Nutt and company under which it occurred. The Tunsil stuff all revolves around a single player. One player. Not likely to be enough to warrant severe penalties for the entire program

I think there will be more added schollies lost, and maybe a coach or two gone, but I doubt a bowl ban. Again, just a guess

What are you some expert in punishment that can result in bowl bans? How do you know there isn't enough evidence to get a bowl bans.....oh wait you don't.

No they were lifted the scholarships were given back and the wins were restored sorry but you are remembering it wrong. Below is a link to USA TOday that confirms this.

Yes and they still didn't get what you are suggesting we deserve.

I wonder if OM is going to get some type of LOIC or Failure to Monitor. Admittedly, I can't recall if that has to be claimed in the NOA or not.

"Failure to monitor" is used throughout the allegations regarding Tunsil, and UMiss sort of admitted its failure by changing its monitoring system. The NOA calls the football allegations "a pattern of noncompliance" but does not use the words "Lack of Institutional Control"

When you have three sports committing Level 1 violations, including academic fraud, I dont' see how you avoid a charge of LOIC, but I'm not an expert. I just read the documents.

Not only has OM cheating been exposed, the staff was shown to be involved on national TV.

I don't believe any of the incoming OM freshmen will ever get to play in a bowl, and I expect the cash payments have been cut off.

The NCAA is gonna give the OM President the option of firing Bjork and Freeze or getting the death penalty.

the scholarships were given back

The scholarship ban was reduced, but they weren't retroactively given BACK the scholarships they'd already lost over 2 years prior. And the post season ban they had was reduced, but they didn't go back in time for the years prior.

Did you just refuse to read the article I posted? Yes they had two years of scholarship reduction then had to recruit just like the rest of us. They weren't allowed to recruit more than 25 per year. I don't know what you mean when you say "they didn't go back in time?"
