You'd think the best coach in the SEC would be able to take a national championship caliber team and not get blown out in their own house.

a hot route is a check off between the QB and a reciever when they both see something they can exploit in the defense, the called route is changed to a hot route and thats where the ball goes regardless of the play called.

McFaddens TD pass to Felix couple years back would be considered a hot route

I was referencing The Wedding Crashers...But good answer

who said they were a national championship team?

Me? If I did maybe I thought their o-line would be a little bit better.

If you go back and check Ole Miss recruiting rankings and sort of take a composite of all services the last few years, they've been around 25 to 30 the last several years. So, it's not logical even a 20th rated recruiting class is a "national championship" class is it?

No. I don't think he's a very good coach. I think he's average. he's in the Nation's most talent rich area.

Man don't even pull that shite. You spent months trolling on about how Ole Miss was going undefeated and winning the national title, and that you'd quit the board after loss #1. Yet, you are still here

So what was up with his success at Utah and Bowling Green?

yea what did you think about your boy Gus and his highpowered spread against the worst defense in the SEC today?

How do you like the fact that I told you a team needed to work under center and you saw why today?

Your "expertise" is a fraud and this has been proven extensively as all of your claims have fallen through. You can proceed to continue spouting horseshite but everyone here will recognize it as nothing more than nonsense.

BTW, we almost had 400 yards of offense and would have fared MUCH better if not for untimely turnovers which had NOTHING to do with the shotgun.

I can live by the statistics...But the Arky D was physical today, outside the big plays.

Lol. You lined up twice under teh center in a short yardage situation and you fumbled twice.

That is what Gus' offense is. chunks of yardage with a ton of turn overs and putting his own defense behind the 8ball. I gaurantee you, chizik does not agree with this hurry up philosphy. Arkansas had no trouble beating it and Arkansas had less talent.

Look, I realize I've talked some bullshite about Ole Miss. I did think they were going to be a better team and I did think they were have a better offensive line. I think you can only have one weak link and be exploited. Ole Miss has ran in to 2 steller defenses ran by mega-superstar coaches. Ole Miss will get to a good bowl game this year. I'm not that disappointed.

BUT CAN YOU EXPLAIN URBAN MEYER'S SUCCESS AT UTAH AND BOWLING GREEN?

My man, one fumble was on a kickoff return. Another was merely the runningback not securing the football before running. The third I did not see.

I can say with full confidence that you are full of shite and your expertise is a lie.

No, he can't. He'll just say that other coaches weren't prepared for the spread.

the third fumble was the QB not being able to take the snap on a QB sneak situation.

man I have explained why Urban won in those lower tier conferences already too much.

I'm not saying he's not a good lower level coach. He's spread will work fine there as long as no teams are prepared or recruited or conditioned for it.

All I am saying based on alot of decisions Urban makes, he makes alot of mistakes in what he does. He's basically a below average SEC coach with the countries premier talent and he's taking advantage of the SEC being down the last few years.

Georgia? down
lsu? down
Tennesse? down

bcshog/fis/wrt:

lsu just won the national championship a few years ago. how can you say they're down?

georgia won 10 games last year. how are they down?

urban meyer has won 2 nat'l championships. how is he only a "good lower level coach"?

the nonsense you spew is amazing.

Argue for Nutt all you want, but here are the facts:

Number of NCs:
Urban Meyer - 2
Houston Nutt - 0

Urban Meyer is the better coach.

Lsu is down this year and they were down last year. when I say down I guess I just mean they don't look as tough to me.

Georgia won 10 games but was blown out by florida, Alabama, and lost at home to Georgia Tech.

Urban just makes alot of poor decisions. Running a concussioned Tebow at the end up the middle with the game already over? Just stuff like that. He's not really very smart. He's won his Nc's b/c he's had a wealth of talent b/c he's in florida. Florida produces the most atheletes in the country.

i'm sorry bcshog/wrt, but i don't expect you as a novice to understand this.

it's not logical to fault a coach for being a badass recruiter when he wins lots of games. that's just not logical. he took over a florida that was not winning championships, and he logically used good, logical coaching to win many games, including 2 national championships in 4 years. that means he's a great coach.

but i wouldn't expect an illogical novice like you to understand that recruiting well and winning national championships is the mark of a great coach.
