I didn't realize a player saying he thinks his team is good enough to beat Bama was "smack talk"

I can use WE all I want. I was born there, I spent the first 4 years of my life on campus and my entire family besides my brother and I went there. The only reason we didn't was because we received football scholarships elsewhere.

One thing about Alabama players is, they never run their mouths about the opposition. Yet you have teams like Ole Miss that have a little success and they don't know how to keep their mouths shut.

not that it actually matters beyond making our coaches attempts at creating "bulletin board material" easier, but directly saying that you don't think this years team is as good as it has been in previous years could be viewed in that manner by reasonable people.

Yeah we are. Our DBs are better, Dline is better, Offense is better, etc, etc..
The only place we are worse than last year as a whole is at middle linebacker.

I'll give you offense but West Virginia had some success against your defense. If Good Bo shows up, we have a good chance at winning. He is key.

Better offense by a long shot. Better defense ( loaded on defensive line, better overall defensive team speed ). That's what 6 # 1 recruiting classes will do. Make no mistake, Alabama is the most talented team in the nation.

I guess that remains to be seen. Y'all don't look as good as you have in years past, but statistically you look improved. However, statistics don't always tell the real story, and especially when there's a small sample size. I think Bama is the best team in the country, but that doesn't mean y'all are invincible.
