Freeze, unlike Merlins, actually answers questions asked of him by reporters.

Well, at least you admit that Freeze did acknowledge that Wallace has to get better or lose his starting position. Whereisomaha is still struggling with that apparently.

This was absolutely the case. We played like shite, gave the ball away 6 times, and y'all STILL couldn't capitalize. I don't know what else there is to say.

Ole Miss defense created those turnovers.

Wallace probably already knows that. Freeze probably said something about it.

Ole Miss has a very difficult offense to cover as it's up-paced tempo causes defenses trouble.

Unfortunately, it is snake oil. Strong defenses that shut down the offense most of the time will be less likely to be scored upon by any offense that deals with ball control. Teams that just want to hold the ball by moving at a 3.4 yard per attempt will effectively stop such an offense from their 80+play 30+ point range.

So both of our defenses blow arse. That's what i took away from this post.

I mean 2 more yards per play is quite a bit of difference...

Then why isn't there a disparity in yards?

Since y'all are doing "play like". A&M would have had 800 yards with zero turn overs.

If you think he will lose his spot you're crazy, who the hell else would play and do better?

Difference between our 2 defenses was we were forcing turnovers. Y'all got one fluke pick 6 and I'll give you the interception at the end of the game. Your guy did a great job jumping that rout.

Y'all played well enough to win. But Ole Miss gave A&M about as much as they could handle.

Yes, I know y'all kicked our butt.

Wallace is the best passer but Brunetti isn't terrible when he makes passes that don't exceed 15 yards. He's better at running the option.

And it got you no where? You lost because your offense couldn't move the ball?

OK - one more time. Just the facts as reported. I don't know and really don't care until Thanksgiving.

FWIW analysts will tell you that interceptions are more skill based and fumbles largely rely on luck. The reasoning behind this is obviously because fumbles can almost always be credited to poor ball security which is a failure of the carrier. I realize a good hard hit can help and you have the occasional INT that is just a fluke.

464 total yards

305 passing yards

159 rushing yards.

Yeah we were really struggling to move the ball on that stellar defense of yours.
