I want to stay away from Fresus unless the Lane Train exits in a pine box. The guy has no connections within the Defensive side of coaching and that will be his downfall.

But like you said, I only want him if Lane isn't here. Now that Lane is cranking up the recruiting I think he's going to be better than Freeze. He's matured a lot since USC. He is by far Saban's best former assistant

Only because he had talent already on campus (Hilton, Prewitt etc...),1 recruiting class where he didn’t whiff on the D side and Tom Allen. Man our D (recruiting also) fell off a cliff when he left! The Hawaiian Connection & Crime Dog let us all down!

You added 4 fairly low to very low 3*s and then two 4*. A&M will top that in the next week and maybe move up 5-8 spots. It’s just a matter of where you were.

You think the son of Monte Kiffen has no clue about defense? Better yet you don’t think he hires good Defensive coaches and let’s them do their job? Good to know what I am dealing with here
