ole miss fans are rednecks that like to pretend they have money....when in reality, most of them dont. They spend lots of money on clothes and cars and return home to a trailer park or a 1000 sq ft house in the middle of the boondocks.
people that actually do have money and are legit can see right through them...

How can anything from the state of Mississippi (especially north MS) label themselves as anything other than rednecks?

I like Oxford and have a lot of friends there and always enjoy going. But yes this thread is mostly correct. Except that there is actually a lot of money in Oxford and Ole Miss alum. But there are also a lot of posers there. Also they seem to have this idea that they have a rep where everyone around the conference and nation is aware of how nice the area is and how much better the people are. Of course this isn't true. Also they seem to think their university is somehow better which is not true.

The average Ole Miss student is a preppy out-of-stater from an upper middle class southern family... if you consider that "snobby" than so be it.
