Agreed. Really sucks that Pearl's ballpark couldn't provide us with a playable field.

The game was canceled at the behest of the Sun Belt Conference umpires (Southern Miss is in the Sun Belt) and with the agreement of both coaches.

Well isn't that convenient. Called two games where OM was losing, and canceled another late in the season due to the hit to their RPI. Plus canceled a Wednesday game after being blasted by the same team on Tuesday.

We (USM) need to go back to home and home series in baseball with OM and MSU. Problem solved. None of the MS teams should ever go back to Pearl.
