Lincoln riley and Bob Stoops and the rest of that staff all knew about the extent of the video.
Stoops had a history of letting players stay on the team and get by with crap..See Dusty Dvoracek who beat his best friend nearly half to death with a baseball bat, and Stoops still let him play for OU...
I'm surprised Riley would let Mixon stay...It was probably pressure from Boosters..

The sec is the unquestioned king of college football, but getting lectured by folks here about OU players’ behavior is like Joe Dirt giving Ricky Bobby parenting tips.

I thought your school voted yes to OU and Texas joining the SEC. If this bothers you this much perhaps you should clean your own house. But I suspect it is more about hating OU. It's fine, a lot of opposing fans hate OU. Just like a lot of opposing fans hate Bama. Success does that.

Stoops suspended DV the rest of the year for that. He got a second chance because of it. Now, i am not defending him by any means. I’d have kick him off for good. He is great as a radio host and ESPN commentator but he still should have suffered way worse. He’s fortunate to have the life he does.
