Yeah it was a weird timing thing. I left for Ft Benning in August and graduated in January. They sent us home for Christmas but at that point we had already completed cleaned/turned everything in. All we did when we came back was wake up pt eat chow and wait to graduate. One of the drill sgts brought a radio in for that night because he liked me and knew I was a Sooner fan.

Sand Hill? Or Harmony Church?

They were 11-2? against a schedule that included power houses TCU, Baylor, Kansas and K State. The 11 games they won cam against opponents where 63-59, a combined 2 games above .500. Not exactly tough scheduling...but it is OU so it would be hard to find a season when they did indeed have a tough schedule...

Oklahoma played six ranked teams that year during the regular season in 2008.

Meanwhile, Florida played five, and their opponent in the SEC championship that year... Alabama faced only three.

Both TCU and Kansas were ranked teams when they faced OU. As were Texas, OSU, Texas Tech and Missouri.

Against the same teams with 2008 players, OU goes 12 - 0.

The changes in the game are pretty large in 16 years. Bradford, the OL, WRs, and Murray as RB could all play now. The defense would have some trouble due to the difference in play.

08 Ole Miss Team whipped up on the 1 loss Texas Tech that year and took care of the national champs in the swamp.

Doubt OK walks through the SEC in 08.

Typically I wouldn’t say this but are you retarded? That season the B12 had nearly 6 teams in the top 5 only bc OSU slipped. The hate sec fans have for the b12 is dumbest thing. I would pick Oklahoma state over the majority of the SEC in Stillwater. Most of you are such clowns.

What other reasons you would go with the 2017 Sooners other than QB play vs 08 team?
