I can tell you, though, that most people outside the South are completely unaware of Auburn. I heard, "oh where is that? South Carolina?" etc a lot in reference to Auburn.

Tis better to be unknown at all than to be the face of every negative stereotype of the south.
I assure you it's truth. As former military who has lived all over the country, though some of you individual fans are awesome, your fanbase as a whole is a joke. Especially to people in the midwest and west coast because they believe, again, UofA fans are the physical manifestations of every negative stereotype in the south.
Deal with it.

We don't really have anybody to hate as much as ya'll hate Auburn, damn. We used to have Ole Miss and New Jersey University College @ New Orleans.

A co-worker literally asked me yesterday, "Oh that'll be a fun trip! That's in Texas, right?"
