Hell, that was two more holding calls than you got all year with SEC refs.

No it wasn't and one of them wasn't called on an offensive lineman but rather a DB down the field.

I hear Saban is going to work on this the other two days of the year. And luckily for you, he made that last coach of yours quit. But of course, before he left, he informed everybody he was cutting his work year down to like 100 days (not including TV appearances). And, oh, how you frickin' loved that guy to the bitter end.

Doesn't the rule book state that grabbing is holding?

That's my whole point. If it's against the rules then call it. Why not ignore other parts of the rule book.

Well, the DL was just barely offsides so let's just let that one go.

Everyone admits that holding happens on every play. Why not stop it?

Football is a business and QBs getting sacked, runs getting stuffed and epic punts do not make for good business.

Any more stupid fricking questions?

Yes, but it's easy to see holding when you have a freeze frame, HD shot of the offensive line. Try being a ref at field level and watching everything happen around you in real time. You might be amazed at just how fast everything moves.

Yeah, would you mind falling arse first on a rusty pitch fork with the tines up?

I certainly see that but when you see a stretched jersey I'm of the opinion that you must call that.

I'm going to email Boom and tell him to make sure the OL gloves match the jersey color of the opponent.

Why don't they make gloves for just the offensive line that doesn't have fingers, so it would be harder to hold but you still have some finger dexterity.

Would make pass catching (TEs and tipped balls) more difficult, as well as fumble recovery, and tackling after a turnover. Not to mention snapping the ball.

Yea, a mitten like glove. Couldn't think of the name, kept saying muffin. I guess I'm hungry.

Just for o=line not receivers (t.e). Hell they can't catch a tipped pass anyway. And the centers will have to use two hands like old school.

The pitch fork has room for two if you guys squeeze in real tight like the seats at Neyland.

They could just amputate the hands of Olinemen. Just Alabama linemen of course, they're the only ones that hold according to the 'rant.

Bama holds and cheats

So the secret to Bama's success is they hold on every single play but its never called. Am I also correct in stating that no other team does this?

Are all referees on the REC payroll or am I misunderstanding the total stupidity of the thread.

...btw - you're channeling your inner LSU whine well this morning.
