I don't think so. That program just doesn't have it. I posted in the Beckwith thread how OBJ is gay, with a link to him gay dancing and checking out dudes, and they are really angry with me. They're not ready to take on Bama.

If you are awful in the NFL, you do not get another contract regardless what round you were drafted. See Richardson, teams are not offering another contract because he was a first rounder. Hell OAK offered him the league minimum and still cut him

...which is why the first contract is still important to players. Which is exactly what your dumbass is arguing against.

LINK

Wait so you were saying you don't get money after your first contract if you're a bust 1st round pick?

Richardson's $600,000 disagrees with you. Do you honestly think if Richardson was a 3rd rounder and performed like he did at Cleveland and Indy that he would have gotten that $600k?

You really have no idea how the economics of the NFL draft work and why Howard made the decision to return. Further, your assessment of Howard's performance and role on this years offense is so off the mark it's laughable.

Stop posting and save yourself from further embarrassment.

Your logic should apply to Henry. He will not be a first rounder , but if he comes back next year and runs for 2K, he could be according to you.
The two aren't comparable at all.

They gave him that money BECAUSE he was drafted #3 overall. There was hope there. It happens all the time for busting 1st rounders. They still get picked up because there is an off-chance they succeed and regain their former status. If he was a 2nd or 3rd rounder and busted, there is no pomp to regain.

Richardson was merely a quickness issue. He was able to bully college defenses with his strength. Once he was getting hit at the line in the NFL he didn't have the quickness to evade. Everyone is strong in the NFL. OJ has speed. That alone makes him a valuable prospect. In the right offense wih a good QB the guy will make plays.

What s bunch of fricking morons. But they run in packs, so they love to tell each other they are correct. If you prove them wrong, there is always another idiot to tell them they are right. It is like a Cult, HBO needs to do a Scientology type documentary on them.

Refute current evidence, don't deflect. What's more important, getting a 1st round grade, or going to the NFL quicker? State your argument without just saying Murray and DA over and over.

Not sure what your point is. Every time you seem to make one, once it is refuted, you shift to another.

Should a redshirt Sophomore who gets a 2nd round evaluation stay possibly two more seasons because he thinks he is first round talent?

Depends. Could he most likely be a top 15 pick next year? If so, then he should definitely come back.

Is there any link that Howard graded high for this years draft. I have no doubt he is talented and has fantastic speed for his size. I am curious about his production overall and know early on he struggled with blocking. I really am not interested in the McDhays and others. Just I there is anything from the NFL we can look to. I know that may be difficult, his potential is high but that doesn't always relate to second round picks.

I also get that TE is more of a higher commodity in the NFL.

Has his blocking improved? That looked like a weakness early on for him.

I really at this time do not see him going in the first round next year so if he was really slated for a second round draft I can see Iron Puppets point although he has been all over the place a little bit as well.

His hands have always seemed mediocre at best and low production. He has dropped some crucial passes at times in the past. No doubt he had a breakout game on the biggest stage. If he was indeed slated for second round I would have left personally but my guess is he was showing mid third and another year would benefit greatly. I offer only an opinion that is mine.

His length, stride, and speed are incredible for 240+ pounds.

Your first post in this thread said OJ had proven nothing and was therefore nothing special to NFL teams. If Howard had gone he could've gone between rounds 3-5. By coming back he might improve enough to be drafted in the 2nd. That's why he stayed, to improve his draft stock.
