Alabama and LSU weren't playing top four teams in the build up to their game.

No, it was straight up #1 vs #2 instead of 2v4. Making it more exciting

Nah, they’ve already played. Give me two undefeated blue bloods

You understand the ratings for The Game rivals playoff games, right?

What do you think is going to happen if we meet for a championship?

I understand. You might get higher ratings but the buildup and hype won’t be as much as 2011 was. Just my opinion

With rare exception (Georgia-Oklahoma) the first round games have been snoozers because there aren't 4 great teams.

Ohio State-Bama. Ohio State-Clemson.

I don't remember the buildup being that significant outside of the SEC.

Probably doesn't matter much. Seems to be Georgia and everyone else this year.

Ohio State got trampled vs Michigan already.

Maybe it was and I am biased because of it. I just remember the first time they played had huge hype and the rematch was even more but it could be regional bias on my part.

OSU is a tough matchup for UGA. Probably a better game than either UM or TCU would give

First will clarify that I don’t think OSU beats Georgia, but if it were to happen, would it be the most hyped National Championship of the BCS/Playoff era?

I don't think anything will top USC/Texas, mostly because everyone knew it was coming since week 2, but that would get really close.

I'd feel better if we had JSN, Henderson, and Williams.
